What did I do wrong?

I put my 03 Rev top end back together before Grantsburg with one new cylinder and new rings. They seem to not be seating because when I put it back together they had 100 lbs. compression. After running it a few times the new cylinder side had 125 lbs. and the old side had 100 lbs. After running it at Gransburg and now back at home everytime I check it, the compression goes down. It now has 100 lbs. on the new side and 80 lbs. on the old side. The motor should have 140 lbs. stock from what I have been told. I am just a new mechanic trying to learn. I have had it torn down several times and have not ever had this problem. Can anyone help me and tell me what might have went wrong. Once again thanks for all the help! i would like to have this running smooth before Wausau.
Thanks again,

RE: Help Looking for used jug

Andy, I wish that I would of seen your post before I ordered one from Danners today. They said that it will be here tommorrow, I sure hope that it is. but I can't belive that you offered me that You are an unbelivible person and I can't thank you enough. It is people like you that make the IWA such a great thing to be a part of. I only wish that I could be as good as you and have the heart of a champion that you have. You have just shown that all of the negitive posts made by others on this forum are not made by true IWA members.
P.S Can we get a picture of you and A.J on your MOD sled at Grantsburg he would love it and he could add it to his Andy Busse collection. Thanks again Mark Engnes

RE: What is Killing Watercross

First let me say that I have read the posts on this site for a long time and never responded to any, but this time I feel compelled to respond. Second, forgive me for my spelling and grammar errors. Drama is a natural thing in sporting events. When you have a competitive cercuit such as the IWA you will always find negative and positive things when people feel their voice is not being heard. They take it to such things like this message board to be heard. I have been a member of the IWA for one and a half years. I have met so many great people that are always willing to help whether they are pro racers or newbies like myself. My boys have more pictures of Andy Busse and Chad Maki in their bedroom than they do of their dad. They admire these racers because they have hearts of champions. They also admire people they have met in the IWA like Dan Hoffman and Jeremy Carlson which teach them to never give up and never give up. They have gotten to watch ther dad learn from some of the greats like Mark Maki and also someone their dad truely admires, Tad Fredrick. For a year and a half they have gotten to watch someone like Shawn Z with his "never give up" attitude. These are the things that make the IWA great and these are the things that will make our family always be fans. Competing brings out the negative in all of us, and drama is not good for any organization. I believe the pats on the backs and "at a boys" given on race weekends are true and sincere. Please don't let personal conflicts destroy an organization that has done so many great things and has brought joy to fans and new racers, like it has my family. This is just my opinion and my suggestion, in my personal life I manage 40-100 people daily, and when they start acting and talking like I've seen on this message board i bring them together so we can air our differences as one rather than in the public. I put my name on the ballet last year for a board member because I saw things like this all the time as a new racer. I have never been done wrong by any IWA member, Mike Benoy or Arlan Peterson, I just can't figure out why you all can't just get along. Right or wrong, you need to make this work. I know board meetings are open to all members but maybe its time to have a meeting to just air things out. Once again, these are just a newbie's feelings. Best of luck to all of you in your upcoming year. Maybe we'll see you in the future.
